Music week, day 1

A melting-pot of meaninglessness

Music week, day 1

Ow my head fucking hurts. Thats what you get when you mix straight polish vodka, guiness and grolsch.

Went to see Vampire Weekend last night. They were very good and as an added bonus half the audience were tiny kids so I had no big grokk stand in front of me and could see right over all their tiny heads. Ra Ra Riots supported and it was weird cos I found the rest of the band far more interesting to look at than their Morrissey sound-a-like lead singer. He needs some work to fit in with the rest of them.

Then onto Bumper which was packed but not sardine-like so that was cool. Caught 2 bands before Eugine Mc Guiness who I cant remember the name of. McGuiness was alright but by then I was getting the fear and had to go home due to having to get up at half 6 for work today.

Off to a fancy dress tonight (Yes, Joker again!) and then back to it tomorrow. Taken the week off work so I can go out EVERY night.

I'm getting the shakes now. Hate being hungover in work.

Last night: went to watch Nosferatu screened at Clayton Sq. with soundscape provided by aPaTt.
Verdict: I really enjoyed it; the soundtrack worked really well and the film itself I found jolly enjoyable (well done, pop-group). Most entertaining were the scallywags walking through the crowd completely dumbfounded

I really would've liked to have seen that.

not for more than a minute or two...

one threw an egg from the top of the nearby staircase, missing everybody and breaking ineffectually 'pon the ground...

comments heard as late night shoppers made their way past the screen...
"what's all this mate"
"why are they lookin' at that?"
"bet it's all about jesus"

best thing was watching the faces of some scally types picking their way through the crowd... the look of "oh my god, all the people i usually take the piss out of are out-numbering me 150 to 1"

second best thing was a delivery lorry reversing it's way through the crowd to get to Boots. resultant booing and driver trying not to make eye contact with anyone was hilarious...

also good - oxygen tent passing round marshmallows.
innocence coming to grief at the hands of life's stinking car thief

I had the world's tallest man stood in front of me on the balcony because there was some stoopid VIP area for the music week beauts. And him and his rotund missus couldn't keep still.
