Torres

A melting-pot of meaninglessness

The latest rumour from Monday's fun is that City put in a bid of £50m for Torres

Wonder what his buy-out clause is?!

doubt he'd have a buy out clause either, the small cause of a riot would not help proceedings either

he's immersed in the club man! So much so he's got you'll never walk alone tattooed on his arm right! So when Dubai come in for us at some point when the yanks decide to stop being stubborn, take their profit and fuckoff it's even staveleys. Amanda. his next move will be AC Milan, he said so, and he seems like a man who would stick to his word.

They did put a bid in for him but it was rejected. He's got his eye on Fabregas, Ronaldo and Torres. Just wait until the January transfer window opens we're gonna see some serious shit! Everyone has a price. If they do start to become successfull and sign top players and start playing regular CL football. You cant really blame players for wanting to move there

you can. ...
because no doubt the players they sign will already be on mega money and playing regularly in the C.L. any way.

...but if the club says, "we wanna sell you cos we've been offered LOADS", you dont really have any choice i suppose!

True, but the chance to play with the quality that they will probably attract in the next few seasons will temp a lot of players. Dont get me started on players' 'buy out' clauses. Nobody honours there contracts these days anyway

I think playing like Fabregas, Gerrard, Torres and Ronaldo don't have a value really.. as if you lose the player you not only lose the name on the teamsheet, but millions in terms of the franchise. If Torres and Gerrard left Liverpool whose shirt would all the kids be wearing? Ngog? Didn't think so!

Good point by the verve there

To be honest with you I think all these stories going round about Man City are total utter bullshit. It’s plain to see that they are the work of bored journalists with far too over active imaginations

“Hey guys, City are rich, who can we think up they are going to buy”

I don’t buy it for a minute (sorry about the pun)
