New Guillemots album

Never have I seen the critics so divided.
Some love it others detest it.

I havent gotten round to getting it yet and only heard "Get Over It" , the current single and I think that's a good song.

Any comments from people who've heard the whole album?

no, but that's never stopped me having an opinion

my internet connection going down and losing my long reply however has, so i'll just agree to liking the single too

I got the album yesterday and had a few run throughs.
I think it's alright. It's no Through the Windowpane, but thats not neccesarily a bad thing.

It's different. Bit weak in the middle but it's not the car wreck some reviews had me thinking it may be.

Had my first listen this morning and there's enough anthems on there to warrant a few more listens. However, Guillemots are anything but a consistent band, I'm sure they'll go on to make an amazing 'best of' a few years down the line.

remarkable how poor this band sounds. I pity the youth who buy into this dross.
