Toots and the Maytals that is. I've been listening to them a lot recently. In my opinion one of the best reggae bands of all time. I saw them live once and they rock! Did you know they are actually credited with giving the genre its name? Anyway, I just got a taste of their upcoming album Light Your Light at my job with umgd. It drops August 28, and I can't wait. What I've heard is pretty dope. Simply straight up reggae. What do you guys think of them? http://www.myspace.com/tatm

toots were once mighty, i think a better name for their current genre might be cabareggae, but they still make me do some of that ol' moonstomping

I just happened to be listening to 'Funky Kingston' when I saw this topic.
Had to put my 2p in. Toots is proper bo. I saw them live last year - he can still kick it like the best of 'em. And what a voice. Love it.
