Standon Calling (UK)

Set in the beautiful grounds of a historic Hertfordshire manor house and with a capacity of just 2,500 people, Standon Calling is truly a unique festival.

The independent three day event started from humble beginnings seven years ago and has now grown into one of the essential festivals of the summer.

Boasting a mightily impressive line-up, the 2008 edition features performances from Super Furry Animals, The Maccabees, Late of the Pier, Glasvegas, Mystery Jets, Johnny Flynn, Friendly Fires and Los Campesinos!

The festival also features a host of crazy spectacles and activities, a swimming pool and much more to keep you entertained. You'd be mad to miss out on it.
