Hill Farm, Steventon, Oxfordshire, UK
Sat 21 and Sun 22 of July 2007
Tickets Approx. £27.50
In case you had the wrong idea, this festival doesn't feature a 'touch the truck', 'they shoot horses, don't they?' competition. Truck began in 1998, when the main stage was the back of a truck and the bands were all from surrounding Oxfordshire. Soon the festival grew, yet it maintains an intimate atmosphere, with the crowd spread over several stages. This two day festival at the end of July sells out before the line-up has been announced, so buy tickets early to avoid disappointment.
The music is primarily guitar-based by day, with
performances down the years from The Futureheads, The Magic Numbers, iforward, russia! and Editors. On the Saturday night is a drum n bass rave, which has featured DJ Zinc and DJ Marky.
