Hurricane Festival

This festival is inside a run-down athletics track. It features an outdoor stage and a tent stage. This lack of choice doesn't matter, as the quality of bands is very high. Radiohead, Queens of the Stone Age, The Roots and Interpol have all played to the party-hard Hurricane crowd.

The food stalls offer a selection of over-sized fish 'in' tiny bread rolls, like when a child wears well-outgrown trousers. It's delicious (The fish, not the child). Hurricane takes place near Hamburg in June.
