In The City was founded in 1992 by music industry extraordinaire Tony Wilson and Yvette Livesley.
During the day, ITC is a beacon for the music business - hosting talks and debates on all aspects of the industry past and future.
The evening time is spent showcasing the best signed and unsigned bands around across a variety of Manchester venues.
Firmly established as a defining weekend in the music industry calendar, over the past 16 years In The City has been a launch pad for an amalgam of acts inlcuding Radiohead, Coldplay, Muse, Elastica, Suede and Doves.
