Although it’s set in Charlton Park, Wiltshire, WOMAD is a truly international festival boasting an array of international talent from thirty countries. Celebrating its twenty-fifth year in 2007, WOMAD mixes music and culture like no other festival.
With 7 indoor and outdoor stages and hundreds of participatory workshops for adults and children, WOMAD is the complete family festival. Whilst adults party the night away to an array of DJ’s at 'Club WOMAD,’ children (and adults) can enjoy the traditional funfair.
The festival also offers a great shopping experience in the 'Global Village' with international food, drink and merchandise stalls.
One thing’s for certain, if you’re one of the 20,000 attendees you won’t be stuck for things to do.
