Atmospheric indie absolutely drenched in sweet pop and infectious lo-fi electro. No, it's not some bizarre, overpriced cocktail served by a dodgy bloke in Camden but the sound of London-based newcomers, Dems
With a name sounding not too dissimilar to an awful attempt at street slang, Dems may well be the greatest band you have yet to listen to. The London-based trio consist of David Gardener, Duncan Mann and Dan Moss and deliver a sturdy dose of weird and wonderful pop-ridden synth tunes combined with some heavy Foals inspiration.
A refreshing addition to the sometimes oversaturated indie circuit, the band released their debut EP, 'House' in December 2011, getting the bloggers talking, and the boys now are looking forward to their 2nd April release of Innor O on Bad Life Recordings to take their popularity to a new level.
There are some ace remixes of their material knocking about too which is always a good sign for a relatively new band and shows a growing interest in a project that could go a very long way.
You can check out their upcoming 'Innor O' release in the video below.
