Having released three singles in the past year, Kyla La Grange is set to let loose her fourth ‘Vampire Smile’ next month.
An enchantingly soft and purposeful voice, La Grange has a soul and richness which is showcased best in the piercing moments of pain and anger that make her new single. A warbling voice with wise old tone, her other tracks are as shaken with passion and tense emotion.
Tousled blonde locks, big questioning eyes and a slight frame also make La Grange the perfect, alternative female singer. Seen on stage barefooted and laden with guitar, Grange has said she likes to write songs about broken hearts.
Signed to Chess Club Records, the singer and songwriter is close to releasing her debut album this summer and has been picked up by both Jo Wiley and Steve Lamaqu. Currently on tour with Dog Is Dead, another buzz band for 2012, it seems Kyla La Grange is getting plenty of exposure to become another big solo female voice.
