Grammy nominated Dance act, Dirty Vegas will be appearing at Liverpool's Nation next month. The South London trio features Ben Harris, Steve Smith and Paul Harris. They've toured the States with Moby and have appeared alongside Groove Armada in the UK.
They were recently nominated at the 45th Annual Grammy Awards for Best Dance Recording, Best Video and Best Recording Package. However, the South London trio almost missed their moment, when they didn't hear their name being called out, "it wasn't until our management patted us on the back going 'go on up boys, you're up!'
"Our record company was just on the phone to us and they're saying 'how do you feel about winning a grammy?' How do you think we feel? You know, six months ago we never even dreamed of being here. Ah, tonight - im not going to bed, I am NOT going to bed!"
Despite winning their prize, Paul revealed that the best part of his night was meeting a certain young "rock" chick: "The best thing for me was Avril Lavigne, she just patted me on the arm and said - 'Well Done Paul' I'm not going to wash this top!"
They are responsible for several remix jobs including 'Die Another Day' for Madonna and 'Cry Me A River' for Justin Timberlake. This will be their first headline tour.
