Two years after the atmospheric 'Walking With Thee', Clinic are ready to wear their surgical masks again. Liverpool’s art punk four-piece, formed out of the ashes of Pure Morning, return extra-loaded with a free MP3, two singles and their third album 'Winchester Cathedral'.
Adopting masks as their trademark during their live shows - reminiscent of The Residents wearing huge eyeballs on their heads - Clinic mix Velvet Underground guitars with quirky vocals and DIY spirit. This time, the Grammy-nominated band go for a short trip to Egypt and invite everyone to join them!
You can download from Clinic’s official website the free MP3 'Vertical Take Off In Egypt' from June 21, which borrows its main refrain from their single 'The Magician' (released July 12) and is the new album’s musical centrepiece. 'Winchester Cathedral' is released August 23, while the next single 'Circle Of Fifths' is out September 20.
