ETCLD Become Porn Stars

Don’t get confused. Earth The Californian Love Dream hail from… Nottingham (!). Four undiscovered champion rock n’ rollers straight outta the UK with a love for Black Sabbath, Captain Beefheart, Primal Scream, Julian Cope, My Bloody Valentine and, hmm... All Saints amongst the others. Huw Costin, singer of the band, claims:

“We make music to affect you.  Songs for you to sing that sound as gorgeous as terrifying. We like love and hate wrapped up in a neat little chorus. Our music is the most important thing in the world and we recognise the tragedy and sing about it...”

After taking Texas by storm at this year’s BPI Showcase at SXSW in March, Earth The Californian Love Dream return on July 19 with their second single 'Porn Star'. The single will be available on cd and limited edition 7” vinyl, and comes backed with an acoustic version of 'Black Stuff'. The final touches are also currently put to their album.
