    Kasabian: Football vs Music

    Kasabian

With just two sell-out 10" under their belt (the second 'Club Foot' was released May 10 through RCA), Kasabian are set to be one of the most promising breaking bands this year. Hailing from Leicester, they bring together guitars and electro-noise inspired by the likes of Neu!, The Who, Blackalicious, DJ Shadow, Primal Scream and Boards Of Canada. "We’ll blow a hole in rock’n’roll. We’re the saviours of a nation’s music", argues guitarist Sergio Pizzorno ferociously.

While not busy making grandiose statements, the act is either playing football or touring with The Cooper Temple Clause and Black Rebel Motorcycle Club. They've also just started a headline tour of their own and are ready to play at Glastonbury, T in The Park and V2004.

Kasabian even traveled to Hungary to shoot the video for their single 'Club Foot'...the video (starring cult Russian actress Dinara Drukarova!) was directed by W.I.Z. and was shot on location at an ex-Russian army camp outside Budapest. Remixes of the single by Jagz Kooner and Freelance Hellraiser are already doing the rounds and we're giving you the chance to listen to the single and two exclusive remixes.
