Gomez are to release their fourth album “Split the Difference” on May 17 through Hut Recordings. For the last 18 months they have hid themselves in their own studio, where they recorded their new release.
Gomez had adopted a DIY approach to recording their past three albums, preferring to record and produce them themselves. For “Split The Difference” however they have recruited the help of Tchad Blake, who has worked with Tom Waits and Crowded House. The result is three-minute catchy melodies, filled with the rock n’ roll feeling that made them famous to begin with.
“Silence”, the second single to be taken off the forthcoming album, is released on May 10. Watch the video stream here!
