Returning after their sold-out foam party in September, Bigga Fish, the not-for-profit youth organisation and events company celebrates once again by hosting another under 18’s party. However, this one will be the largest bonfire night party in the capital. Showcasing the finest talent in funky house, grime, funky and hip hop, the party kicks off at the Roundhouse on Saturday 7th November from 5pm – 11pm and will feature performances by Donaeo (‘Party Hard’), Crazy Cousinz, Bashy, Ghetts and more.
Now that the summer is pretty much over and the temperatures drop, what better way to make the best of the cold weather by reliving the summer times and dancing the evening away with 2,800 other party goers?
Donaeo makes a special appearance on the night, after making hit after hit with the likes of ‘Bounce’, ‘Devil In A Blue Dress’, ‘African Warrio’r and most recently the funky smasher ‘Party Hard’. Donaeo is dropping an album soon and will be performing new tracks on the night.
Egypt says that she is bringing ‘old school music back to the new school’. Her hit ‘In The Morning’ had the underground scene in recoil back in January as the tune took over clubs, was booming out of car stereos across the UK and killed dacefloors across Napa this summer.
Crazy Cousinz are a four-piece dj and production outfit who have been sprinkling their funky magic everywhere, and recently released ‘This Is Funky Vol I’ – a compilation of their remixes and original studio tracks - to great critical acclaim. To date Crazy Cousinz have remixed Estelle, Alesha Dixon, Lemar, Shontelle and loads more. Their big club smashes include ‘Bonjo Jam’ and ‘Do You Mind?’
Bashy is fresh from releasing his highly anticpated debut album ‘Catch Me If You Can’, has worked with Damon Albarn, wrote the soundtrack to the award winning Noel Clarke film ‘Adulthood,’ and received a nomination for last year’s MOBO awards.
Ghetts, formerly known as Ghetto, released his debut single ‘Sing 4 Me’ earlier this year. His album ‘Rebel With A Cause’ is slated for release soon.
Devlin is a Dagenham based MC that is making waves across the UK and beyond after his tracks have been played out on 1Xtra, Kiss as well Flava and Rinse FM.
Young Nate performed at the O2 arena earlier this year and has recently released his album, ‘A Piece Of Me’ which guest features Tinie Tempah, Soundbwoy and Gracious K. Nu Brand Flexxx’s music has had support from Westwood, Semtex and Mastersteps and has also been featured on RWD TV.
Zest will be performing alongside Bigga Bloco, a Brazilian influenced drumming troupe who performed at Lovebox and Underage Festival this summer.
DJ Support on the night comes from Flukes (Crazy Cousinz), Vectra (Rinse FM), Policy (Sho! Patrol) and Skipp (Bang Radio), and Sho! Patrol and Blaze will be hosting the night’s entertainment.
If you’re aged between 14 and 18 years old and want to relive this summer’s memories with the best UK urban talent, then Bigga Fish’s Bigga Bonfire Bash at Camden’s Roundhouse on Saturday 7th November is for you.
Bigga Fish was launched in 1998 and provides media training for young adults, in addition to event management. They also offer educational support to many of London’s boroughs.5:00:00
