After scoring their second UK (and first US) Top Ten album his this week, Sigur Ros have revealed the new video for the 'Varud'.
It's not one that you're likely to see on the playlists of many music video channels, as the visuals are based simply on the change in seasons on a stunning mountainout environment. A number of human figures can be seen among the rocks communicating in morse code, adding to the haunting quality of the track and video.
The video is part of a project of 12 releases from the band, with different directors producing videos for the eight tracks from the album. The 'Varud' video was directed by Ingibjörg Birgisdóttir, who was also responsible for the 'Valtari' album artwork.
