With new album 'Humbug' set for release on August 24, Arctic Monkeys whet fans' appetite last Thursday night by performing three brand news songs along with a cover of Nick Cave's 'Red Right Hand'.

I think the new material I've heard so far is a bit wank really, I'll give the whole album a listen when I can, but so far I'm left pretty uninspired.

The album won't dissapoint. It's superb and a big leap forward for the band.

They've spoken about how they have improved their guitar playing. But 'Potion Approaching' has to be one of the most basic, poorly written guitar riffs i've ever heard.

the album has is pretty rubbish,crying lightning and my propeller being the two decent tracks,otherwise its very dull and QOTSA Lite.Potion Approaching is indeed a poor Very Ape.
