Brooklyn, Brooklyn, Brooklyn you are our current musical mecca. Thank you for Vampire Weekend, Yeasayer and MGMT and thank you for Apes & Androids. The freak-funk five piece are our current obsession and their album 'Bad Moon' on heavy rotation on our stereo. They take what MGMT do and add even more Prince to the mix while the synths are left to explore the outer reaches of the psychedelic universe and a rock-opera is played out through the vocals. The sad thing is they don't seem to be doing much touring at the moment, come on guys get those amps packed up and hit the road!
