"There is little you could say to do justice to this truly dynamic, soulful group and, quite frankly, they're likely to leave you speechless in any case" ***** (Tim, Reel Sound Music)***** Tremain is the sound of nu-soul groove - blending contemporary soul with progressive beats, brightly polished by rich, harmonized vocals. Centred around three songwriters/musicians; Leonie Tremain (22), Amba Tremain (26) and Andy Dixon (27), Tremain has successfully gigged to an ever growing fan base throughout the UK for the past four years. Tremain is influenced by all music, but particularly work of the soul and funk greats, Stevie Wonder, Aretha Franklin, Marvin Gaye, The Supremes, The Funk Brothers, Prince, Eva Cassidy and, as well as continuously writing their own material, Tremain have also been fortunate enough to work on some of their idle's records (most notable recording backing parts for Eva Cassidy's take on Aretha Franklin's 'Chain of Fools' which is set to be a 2009 single release from Eva Cassidy's latest album, 'Somewhere'. 2009 see's Tremain working with a brass section so to make their already 'big' sound, 'bigger'.
