About
--**TONIGHT WE'RE ELECTRIC**--
We started the band 18 months ago with the aim of producing a sound true to ourselves and creating a new style of music to inspire everyone who comes across it. In a very short space of time we had managed to achieve this and started to reach out people in a way that was unique to us.
Since we started we have had the opportunity to share the stage with some inspirational bands and earned their respect. We have played with the likes of Don Broco, Floods, Giants, My Passion and We Are The Ocean. We are proud to say that we were specifically chosen to play with these bands on merit alone.
Also in the last year we have become regular guests at the BBC, with our single featuring as the main song in a promotional video for the "BBC Three Counties" radio station, along side Enter Shikari. We also played 3 shows over the summer and the christmas show with the BBC where on 2 occasions we were placed as the headline act.
In summer of 2010 we were selected to play the second biggest street festival in the UK which was the "Bedford River Festival" where we played to over 10,000 spectators on the main stage.
In December 2010 we shot a music video for our single "Party! Party!" with a director called Lawrence Hardy. Lawrence has worked with some huge bands like Enter Shikari, You Me At Six, Young Guns and Don Broco. We are extremely proud to say that we are now part of his collection. The video is due for release in February, along with the single, to be played on music television channels and with strong support from the BBC, up and down their UK radio stations.
We released our single ourselves in early 2010 via ITunes and over 10 other online music distributers including Myspace, Play.com and Napster and has proven to be very popular.
2011 holds alot of exciting prospects of us with an opportunity to record at Abby Road Studios, we have fans all over the UK so with that, we plan to tour, we have a video/single to be released in February, an E.P to be released in May and many more shows in the pipeline. Also through our connections at the BBC we are looking to play a few festivals over the course of the summer.
