Residual Effect formed in 2004 and have metal fans in a frenzy, receiving rave reviews in Rocksound, Zero Tolerance and several online zines. In 2006 they recorded a debut EP, placing them firmly amongst their peers and as a major force in metal music. "In a World Where Pain Is God" has seven tracks of extreme metal and clearly shows the band achieving a level unmatched by alot of the mainstream trash that is force fed to metal fans today.
