Nedry is Earthkeptwarm and Ekocam. Nedry create music to bounce to, rock-out to and get lost in. Their beautiful sound and arresting beats are from and for the ‘post-’ generation; it is music to experience and enjoy and engage with. Their sound is dark and ambient but broken-up and lifted-up by moments of glitch and fuzzy, melodic guitars. Both live and on record they use innovative production techniques to create a truly original sound. As individuals Earthkeptwarm and Ekocam have played at Glastonbury, Truck and Woolfire Festivals; performed with the likes of Bonobo and Fuck Buttons; and worked with Mr Cooper, 2nd ClassCitizen (Project Mooncircle/Equinox), Remdog (Reptiles///), Rebecca Havilland, Variex and Sinestetici. As Nedry they started performing, producing and recording in summer 2008. They have performed with Pivot (Warp), The Gaslamp Killer (Brainfeeder), and Daedelus (Ninja Tune); and work with Ayu Okakita (Universal) and Lethem (Broken Branch) in ongoing collaborations.

Influences

Influences and comparisons include but are not exhaustive of; Pivot, Battles, Clark, Errors, Efterklang, Mogwai, Shackleton, Kelpe, Massive Attack, Radiohead but arguably Nedry are making a very specific and new brand of music that bridges all of their influences genres.

Aims for Nedry in 2009: • Nedry are planning to tour their unique live sound across the UK towards the end of 2009 as well as perform at several summer music festivals within the UK and possibly Europe. • Their debut EP titled ‘S Z EP’ is available digitally from various download sites including I-tunes. • Writing and recording for a second EP due for release in the late summer is currently underway with featuring collaborations with Japanese vocalist Ayu.
