About
The Bristol 5 piece formed after their previous bands vocalist left to fulfil a lifelong dream to travel the globe. The remaining members felt that they had matured musically and had outgrown the current influx of indie bands and saw this as a perfect opportunity to make a fresh start. A reshuffle of the band, a new guitarist and a new name completed the transformation. Moreton Vue have spent 6 months writing and rehearsing. Launched in Feb 2009 they now firmly establishing themselves on the live circuit. The unique storyteller voice of Dom Ford is supported by the brilliant guitar riffs of Stu Hasell, blending with the bass and keyboard of Darren Russell and mixing perfectly with the influences of Liam Steward’s guitar. This combination is supported by Craig Scott’s solid drumming. The Moreton Vue sound is unique; the lyrics have real meaning and are aimed at real people. We hope you enjoy listening to the music as much as the band enjoy writing and performing it.

Moreton Vue
After all this pop-punk nicety comes something altogether different. Dressed in regulation Ocean Colour Scene sun-hat and looking like the unholy combo of Mark Radcliffe (nice!) and Shaun Ryder (less nice), vocalist Dom Ford swaggers across the stage like he's just stepped out of 24hr Party People. But whilst Moreton Vue's sound does nod at times to heady Hacienda days, there's also a dry, purposeful grit to their twenty minute set, and intertwining guitar lines that Steve Craddock would be proud of.
