Tapes n Tapes

Hailing from Minneapolis, Minnesota, Tapes ‘n Tapes already have two releases under their belts since the four members of the eclectic indie band formed in 2003 and have already established themselves as a band to watch very closely.
 
In 2004 the band released a self titled EP that shot them to cult status among indie circles. In the year of 2005 their debut album ‘The Loon’ was released to widespread acclaim. Although their first full length LP was released on the record label Ibid which was the bands own label, Tapes ’n Tapes signed to XL recordings in 2006, thus re-releasing ‘The Loon’ to a wider, international audience.

Their mix of all things favourably indie landed them a guest spot on David Letterman, and many tours throughout Europe, North America and the UK. They have also guest starred in a comedic short movie in conjunction with www.azizisbored.com. Tapes ‘n Tapes current members include Josh Grier on guitar/vocals, Jeremy Hanson on drums, Matt Kretzman on keyboards/multi instrumentalist, and Erik Appelwick on Bass Guitar.
