The Killers' Brandon Flowers showcased his debut solo album at an intimate gig in London tonight (September 8).
The singer played a host of songs from 'Flamingo', as well as tracks by The Killers and Elvis Presley during the 60-minute set at The Garage.
Flowers, who was watched by a small crowd that included Mark Ronson, looked anxious as huge cheers greeted his arrival on stage.
But after completing opener 'On The Floor', he visibly relaxed during a rendition of recent single 'Crossfire'.

Tinie Tempah leads the nominations for this year’s MOBO awards with four nods.
The South London rapper’s nominations include Best Video and Best Song for his number one hit ‘Pass Out’.
Tinie Tempah is also nominated for Best Newcomer alongside Professor Green, Scorcher, Labrinth and Devlin.
Tinie Tempah and Professor Green are also shortlisted for Best UK Act, as are Roll Deep, Leona Lewis, Plan B, N-Dubz and Giggs.

Festival-goers attending this weekend’s Bestival festival have been told to expected a mixture of sunshine and showers.
The event gets under way at Robin Hill Country Park on the Isle of Wight on Friday (September 10).
A Met Office spokeswoman told Gigwise that there was a risk of showers on Friday evening and moving into Saturday (September 11).
But she added: “Sunday is looking like the best day at the moment, dry and bright."

Brandon Flowers is on course to end Katy Perry’s reign at the top of the UK album chart, midweek figures show.
The Killers frontman’s debut solo album ‘Flamingo’ is currently outselling Perry’s second LP, ‘Teenage Dream’.
Hurts are set to debut at number three with their first album ‘Happiness’, according to the Official Charts Company.
In the singles chart, Alexandra Burke’s ‘Start Without You’ is on course to enter the countdown at number one.

Deftones Announce November UK Tour US band will play seven dates...

Deftones have announced details of a UK tour, which is due to begin in Glasgow on November 12.
The seven-date jaunt also includes gigs in Leeds (November 13) and Southampton (15).
It is set to conclude with a performance at the Academy in Birmingham on November 20.
The US band released their latest album ‘Diamond Eyes’ earlier this year. They have also recently been working on new material.

Seasick Steve has announced details of a one-off gig in London next month.
The US performer will play an intimate show at The Blues Kitchen in Camden on October 7.
Seasick Steve released his last full studio album, ‘Man from Another Time’, in 2009.
The singer was among guests at the Mercury Prize ceremony in London last night. The award was won by The xx.

Metallica, Slayer Announce 'Big Four' Live DVD From their recent European tour...

Metallica, Anthrax, Slayer and Megadeth are to release a live DVD of their recent joint European tour.
The Big Four Live From Sofia will include footage from each band’s performances at the Sonisphere festival.
The two-disc DVD will also include behind the scenes footage and interviews with the bands.
A limited-edition super deluxe box set will include the DVD set, five CDs and a 24-page booklet.
Both are due to be released on October 25. The gig was also shown live in cinemas across the UK back in June.

Biffy Clyro have congratulated The xx following their triumph at this year’s Mercury Prize.
The band’s self-titled debut beat eleven other albums, including Biffy Clyro’s ‘Only Revolutions’, to claim the award.
In a message on Facebook, Biffy Clyro said they were pleased for the South London trio.
“Congratulations to The xx,” they wrote. “Glad it was an album that we all love that won!”

Jay-Z, Lady Gaga, Poison Set For Glee Season 2 Premiere It is announced...

Songs by Jay-Z and Lady Gaga will appear in the opening episode to series two of Glee.
The episode, entitled Audition, will see the members of fictitious New Directions glee club travel to New York to compete in National finals.
Cast members perform the Jay-Z’s ‘Empire State of Mind’ and Lady Gaga’s ‘Telephone’ in the episode, which airs on September 21.
Music supervisor P.J. Bloom said they chose Jay-Z’s track because “we needed a New York song”.

Former Destiny’s Child singer Michelle Williams is among the contestants on this year’s Strictly Come Dancing.
The singer will join veteran dance DJ Goldie on the programme, which starts this weekend.
Williams, one of the girl group’s original members, said she was looking forward to learning some "sexy, sultry, seductive" dance moves.
The rest of this year’s Strictly Come Dancing line-up consists of TV personalities and actors.
