The life of AC/DC's second singer Bon Scott, who died in 1980, is to become the subject of a new movie.
The project, which has yet-to-be-titled, is being overseen by film maker Eddie Martin.
According to Australia's Undercover, talks about film have been ongoing over recent months, although Martin said it was in its “early days”.
“We are in the writing process. We’ve been meeting with Gaby, Mary, Irene [Scott's former wife] and The Valentines crew, people like Vince Lovegrove, Bon’s early friends,” Martin added.
The role of Scott has yet to be decided, although Tom Budge is understood to be the favourite to play AC/DC's Angus Young.
Scott's life remains one of the few untold stories about AC/DC. He joined the band in 1974 after replacing original singer Dave Evans.
Martin said he would “love” filming to begin over the next “12-18 months”.
