Eminem Rapper Bans Gay Couples From Buying Album

US rapper Trick Trick has told homosexuals not to buy his new album, 'The Villain'.

In an interview with All Hip Hop, the rapper, a long term collaborator with Eminem, said he disliked the homosexual lifestyle.

He also claimed that “the world is changing for the worst” as a result of what he claims is society's acceptance of homosexuality.

“I’ma go on the record right now with this. Homosexuals are probably not gonna like this album,” he said.

“I don’t want your faggot money any goddamn way. I don’t like it [homosexuality]. Carry that shit somewhere else.”

Homophobic Lyrics

'The Villain', which is out now, contains a wide range of homophobic lyrics.

In one song, Trick Trick refers to talk show host Ellen DeGeneres and Rosie O’Donnell, both gay activists, as “dyke bitches” and promises to send a “scud missile right through their fucking cruise ship.”

But Trick Trick defended the lyrics, saying that he wanted to address the issue as “hard as hell”.

He said: “It’s just that every time that you turn on the TV, that sissy shit is on. And they act like its fucking okay.

“The world is changing for the worst when shit like that happens. And I address that issue. I address it hard as hell.”

Eminem and Sir Elton

Trick Trick's comments, and his association with Eminem, are likely to bring hip-hop music's much publicised relationship with homosexuality back into the spotlight.

Many of Eminem's early lyrics were perceived as homophobic by activists before he performed alongside Sir Elton John, an openly gay musician, at the Grammy Awards in 2001.

  • Before I read this article, I thought, "Who the hell is Trick Trick?" And yet now, living as a man in a same-sex relationship in these turbulent and divisive times, I'm forced to reflect on this news and think... "Who the hell is Trick Trick?" I feel about the same as I would if a guy who plays the accordion on a New York street corner told me he was homophobic and not to give him any spare change. "Okay! Uh... thanks!"

  • Well what can we really expect from a "gangsta" rapper? The whole genre is about violence, acting macho, thinking you're the best. He displays his own ignorance and stupidity through his comments.   • If you're going to bring God in it, realise that God punishes those who judge others and that no sin is greater than the other. We all judge and we all judge poorly that's apart of our human nature. Being human can't be fixed but ignorance can be and that's what this is, its blatant ignorance.
