Former Guns N' Roses guitarist Slash has praised the band's new single 'Chinese Democracy', which was premiered this week.
The guitarist was asked to give his opinion of the song during an appearance on Boston radio station WBCN 104.1 FM.
Slash replied: "That sounds cool. It's good to hear [frontman Axl Rose's] voice, you know?"
The guitarist left Guns N' Roses in the mid-90s because of what's widely believed to have been creative differences with Rose.
Slash, who currently plays guitar in Velvet Revolver, also told the radio station that he hoped to release a studio album next year.
As previously reported on Gigwise, Guns N' Roses eagerly awaited new album, 'Chinese Democracy', will be available on a 14-track CD, digital download and vinyl from November 23rd via Best Buy stores in America.
'Chinese Democracy' will be available in the UK from November 24th.
The album has been nearly fourteen years in the making and is reported to have cost Rose $2million.
