US rapper Lil' Wayne has revealed that he plans to re-release his latest album, 'Tha Carter III', with an entirely new tracklisting.
The rapper said the new edition of the album would include a collaboration with Ludacris, which was left off the original LP.
Earlier this month, Lil' Wayne told his blog that he was recording the album's follow-up – but he now appears to have changed his mind.
Speaking to MTV about his decision, he said: "I don't know if we're gonna release 'Tha Carter IV now. I think we're gonna release 'Tha Carter III' — a new 'Carter III' with none of the same songs, though.
“That was the dilemma we were in. We want 'Carter IV' to be what everybody wants it to be.”
Lil' promised that 'Tha Carter III: The Rebirth' would be something “brand new”.
He added: “We don't want it to be some experimental thing, 'cause some people are not gonna like this. I don't want them to not like 'Tha Carter IV'.
Lil' Wayne's latest album is still the biggest selling US release of the year, shifting over 1 million copies in its first week during the summer.
