Britney Spears 17-Year-Old Sister 'Pregnant Again'

Britney Spears' 17-year-old sister Jamie Lynn is expecting her second child, US media reports claim.

Jame Lynn, who gave birth to her first child, Maddie Briann, in June, is apparently eight weeks pregnant.

An unnamed source told the National Enquirer that she and her mother, Lynne, were left “hysterical” after she took a pregnancy test.

"Neither of them knows what to do, but for now they're trying to keep the news from getting out,” the source said.

"Jamie Lynn believed she couldn't get pregnant while she was breast-feeding.

"She'd expected to have her period by early September, but a home pregnancy test came back positive and Jamie Lynn cried her eyes out.

"Lynne was livid when she found out."

The reports coincide with Jamie Lynn's appearance on the cover of the US edition of OK Magazine.

- Well she clearly didn´t learn from ¨safe sex¨ education either...maybe she´d never heard of condoms (yeah right)...and abstinence does work when it is followed...no one will EVER get pregnant if they are not having sex!

It's not rocket science is it...have sex without a condom or other contraceptive then you run the risk of pregnancy. Although this girl is obviously young and naive, you've got to be pretty thick not to have learnt your lesson from going through labour at the age of 16 or whatever age she was. Come on young girls - leanr from this and be SAFE.

Breastfeeding is a method of contraception. It's called the Lactational Amenorrhea Method and its about 98% effective if you follow the guidelines properly. While not the most responsible way for a 17 year old girl coming off her first child, she isn't THAT stupid.

Actually, breast-feeding is considered a natural form of birth control and studies indicate that it's 98-99.5% effective in preventing pregnancy as long as all of the following conditions are met: 1. Your baby is less than 6 months old; 2. Your menstrual periods have not yet returned; 3. Baby is breastfeeding on cue (both day and night), and gets nothing but breastmilk or only token amounts of other foods.
