George Michael Plays 'Final' Concert In London

But is it the end?...

Share

George Michael played the second of two shows in London last night (August 25th), which signalled the end of his touring career in the UK.

Dubbed the “final two”, the concerts at Earls Court were enjoyed by thousands of fans, many of whom had travelled from around the world to see the star.

Like Sunday, Michael played tracks from a diverse, career-spanning set list. You can see pictures from the concert below.

As previously reported on Gigwise, despite announcing an end to his touring career, Michael confirmed at the first Earls concert that he planned to release a Christmas single.

It will accompany a cover of Nina Simone’s ‘Feeling Good’, which he recorded for a US TV show earlier this year, Michael told fans.

Were you at the concerts? What did you think? Post your thoughts by filling out the form below.

  • Firstly being from the US and flying half way around the world...it was nothing but a JOY for George to bring the 25Live tour to the US. I had to go to Europe 3 times before getting a chance to see him LIVE in the US. So I only hope that in hte future...he comes back to the US!!

  • I’VE BEEN TO LOADS OF HIS CONCERTS THIS WAS SIMPLY THE BEST!. NEVER WANTED IT TO END!. I AGREE WITH CAZ TUNERS COMMENT ABOUT NOT RETIRING JUST NOT DOING ANYTHING AS BIG AS 25 LIVE & I DONT BLAME HIM. WOULDN’’T IT BE GREAT TO GO TO A REAL INTIMATE CONCERT WITH GEORGE FOR THE FANS WHO TRUELY ADMIRE HIM & NOT JUST SCREAM THE PLACE DOWN. LOVE YOU GEORGE!!
