Iggy Pop injured himself onstage as the Stooges headlined the Get Loaded in the Park festival in London last night (August 24th).

Pop wounded his leg after falling awkwardly from a speaker stack on the main stage.

But he carried on despite the injury, treating fans to a raucous and energetic set.

Obvious highlights during the bands performance were fan favourites ‘I Wanna Be Your Dog’ and ‘Search and Destroy’.

Other performances at the event on Clapham Common came from The Hives, Kate Nash and Gogol Bordello.

You can see extensive highlights from front and backstage below.

    • Kate Nash was over an hour late for her set. Who does she think she is - Amy Winehouse? We spent so much time waiting for the little brat to decide to come on stage we missed most of the Gossip - a real band.

      • Erm, actually Kate was late on stage because the act before her ran over THEIR time and you have to change leads and sound etc between artists- they don't all use the same equipment. Think before you speak.

    • Kate Nash was only late on because Reverend and the Makers were late on first, they acted as though they didn’t care that they were late and said they weren’’t leaving until they had done their set. It wasn’’t her fault that they delayed her sound check and set.

    • What rubbish, she had a full 25 mins to set up but took 1 hour and 15 mins. No other band takes that long. Everyone was booing where it was so ridiculous. Same thing happened in Southampton Uni, it was so bad she got booed off stage in tears ha ha...

    • No she wasn’t late by an hour because of Reverend, as much of a pain he was being, he didn’’t delay nash by an hour maybe 10 minutes at most. No idea why she was so late, but it did take the mick just a bit.

    • I waited for an hour and not one annoucement was made to guarantee she was actually coming, so we just gave up and moved on to enjoy some actual live music rather than waiting litening to the tunes of a really crappy cd!

    • Why do people even care about kate nash, her music is shit, another flash in the pan artist. Now the stooges on the main stage that was a show and a half, Iggy Pop, The Ashertons, Mike Watt, Steve Mackay, real rock and roll stars, who even in their 60’s perform with more energy and passion than 99% of modern so called rock stars

    • You guys have more patience than me waited 45 mins then went saw Iggy. The whole event as a whole was great, but there were a few things the annoyed me. 1 of the bands that I REALLY want to see was Soulwax, and was slightly peeved when they did their 2 many DJs set. Don’t get me wrong 2 many DJ’s are great, but I got myself all worked up to see Soulwax and was let down.

      • What do you mean 2manydj’s set ? It was the proper band with Steve the drummer and Stefaan the bassist, not just the two Dewaele brothers. They’’re just no longer as rock as at the beginning, and more and more electro. If you were expecting Soulwax’’ tracks from Any Minute Now or Much Against Everyone’’s Advice, it’’s been like 5 years they haven’’t played them...

    • On a positive, Gogol Bordello!!! My GOD, they were awesome. Never seen them before, never really heard of them before, but they were by far the best live performance ive seen in quite a while. Filled the stage with energy.

    • I didn’t even realise Iggy had hurt himself - what a trooper! And another blistering set from the Hives, as ever.

    • Yeah The Hives were awesome, I was very impressed. The whole day was really good, well worth the journey down from the midlands
