Keane Frontman Tom Chapman says the band's new song, 'Spiralling', is them “ignoring rules of good taste” - but what do you think?

We want you to listen to the track from the bands new album, which has been released early as a free download, and post your review.

Speaking about the song, Chapman told the BBC it would “surprise” people, adding that it also proves the group “are children of the 80s.”

Keane - 'Spiralling'

It's the first song fans have heard from Keane's new album 'Perfect Symmetry', which is out this October.

What do you think of the song? Is it a radical departure? Post your comments and review by filling out the form below.

  • It\'s a fucking amazing song. Screw you if you don\'t like it. No bands at the moment are making such great tunes.

  • Lightweights, huh? I think it is actually very ballsy to take such a risky shift. I guess Bowie, The Pet Shop Boys, and The Talking Heads’ sound was horrible too? No freaking way. This is fresh, good, and courageous...no matter who did it. Not the same ol, same ol. A+++

  • Love the song, love the lyrics and love his voice. Keane can do no wrong in my eyes.....and to all those people ripping them and it to pieces, get over yourselves ....armchair critics with no talent!!

  • I quite like it, not bad, but not quite good enough to release on single. Makes a nice change from their early piano based tracks.
