Robert Plant 'Falls Asleep' When Asked About Led Zeppelin Reunion

He extends Alison Krauss tour...

Share

Robert Plant simulated snoring when he was asked on Monday whether Led Zeppelin would reunite for a world tour in the near future.

Plant was speaking to journalists abut his current project with singer Allison Krauss when the subject of his former band was raised.

"Zzzzzzzzzzz," Plant said at a press conference in Toronto, before pretending to fall asleep.

Calls for Led Zeppelin to announce further shows have been constant since the band played a one-off reunion show at the O2 Arena in London last December.

The possibility of another show this year now looks unlikely, however, after Plant and Krauss announced that their tour would continue into October.

The Led Zeppelin singer also hinted at a further extension, telling the Canadian Press that he would like to “extend it as far as we can, if you know what I mean."

  • If you’re bored by top-flight musicians, well-crafted songs and people who can sing notes your little mind couldn’’t even imagine, then thanks for letting the world know you’’re a musical DUNCE. Stay home and play with yourself and your little Geetar Homo game. I’’m just trying to figure out how you conviced mommy to type such nonsense on the computer for you. Bore THIS!

  • what a dick head...I just heard Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones playing Ramble on at wembley stadium with David Grohl....they are ready and a whole generation of Zep fans are out there waiting. Instead Plant takes his egotistical, tired country act on the road from state fair to amphitheatre when the reunion of the new decade waits, for his graying bearded arse.

  • Plant just has to add his dig to Jimmy (pretending to fall asleep). Zep music changed the history of Rock and Roll; I’ve been listening to Zep for 40 years - I won’’t be listening to Krauss/Plant for 40 minutes. Oh well, MAYBE they’’ll release the O2 concert on DVD if it isn’’t too much trouble. In the meantime, Foo’’s DVD with Jimmy and JPJ is coming out just months after the concert!! Hmmm....imagine

  • Robert Plant has become an unappreciative, smug, waste of talent. I say go get Coverdale NOW and let plant sing his self gratifying - meager music, while Page-Jones and Bohnam - respectfully - give everyone what they are asking for!!!
