Hello! Do you guys have any plans for a US Tour yet? Because I would love to go to one of your concerts.
~ by Zahir M in Alabama, USA
Abi: We really hope so, no plans yet though.
Sean: We love touring the U.S. But it is a tough place to get around – it’s so big! Hopefully we’ll get back there soon though.
If you could be any lyricist and composer who would it be and why?
~ by Dave Dearlove
Sean: That is a tough one but lyrically Bob Dylan is second to none. Duke Ellington is amazing and Miles Davis is a dude!
Abi: Bob Dylan – for obvious reasons.
In your song ”Secrets” is there a reference to Willy Russell’s ”Bloody Brothers” as the play is set in Liverpool. And have you seen the play, if so what do you think of it?
~ by Joseph Maguire
Sean: It’s a classic that we all have read in school but there is no reference to it. Make your own connections though.
Abi, are you ever going to have your music published in score form for the saxophone? I have taught myself to play by listening to your music, but can’t work out all the notes in some of the songs.
~ by Natassia
Abi: No – the book that’s out is completely wrong. You just have to listen again and again until you get it.
What was it like supporting Paul McCartney at Anfield?
~ by Shirley
Abi: Amazing – he blew me away.
Which of your music styles do you prefer? Songs like ’Tired of Hanging Around’ and ’Its The Little Things We Do’ or do you prefer the more slower, subtle ones like ’Remember Me’ and ’Railroad’
~ by David
Abi: I love them all so much for different reasons.
Is it true that Russ used to be a big Shakin’ Stevens fan?
~ by Gus
Abi: Yes – he still is….and always will be!!!
What did you think of ’Valerie’ by ’Amy Winehouse’ when you first heard it and did you think it would be successful?
~ by David
Abi: I love it – she’s so big, it was bound to be a big hit.
