2008 Glastonbury Line Up: See It On Gigwise Now In Full Add to My Fav Bands List

The full line up for this years Glastonbury Festival has been revealed, a day after a supposed leaked version appeared in the media.

This year’s festival, which runs from, June 27th-29th, will be headlined by Jay-Z, The Verve and Kings of Leon.

The only slot which has yet to be confirmed is the penultimate show on the Pyramid Stage on Saturday.

The full line-up announcement has confirmed that Panic At The Disco, Massive Attack and Groove Armada will headline the Other Stage.

Other acts confirmed for this year’s festival include The Cribs, The Enemy and Pete Doherty, who is currently serving a 14-week prison sentence.

This year’s John Peel Stage will be headlined by Jaime T, The National and Biffy Clyro.

Earlier this morning, Glastonbury organiser Emily Eavis revealed that elements of the leaked version of the line up were “wrong”.

  • DO U KNOW WHAT, IT ANT TOO BAD ACTUALLY. now the proper one has been released, it reads completely different. plus the dance, avalon, park etc all look really good. still crossing my fingers for portishead for sunday night on the jazz stage (as it is free).

  • It does make me laugh all the negative hype surrounding this year. It certainly seems BBC radio is busy with marketing one big weekend these days. There are a few jokey acts on there but anyone who knows about music will be liking the look of that. I think there could be a very cool atmosphere this year without as many plonkers or headliner whores. ;)
