Kaiser Chiefs have been attacked by their own fans over the decision to play a series of warm up shows in isolated parts of Scotland.
The dates, which will take place in Strathpether and Oban next month, precede the band’s huge homecoming concert at Elland Road in Leeds on May 24th.
In messages on the band’s official website, many fans have asked how they are expected to travel to the gigs.
Another said: “Would've been nice if the warm up gigs would've been anywhere near Leeds.”
Despite many critics, fans located near the venues have praised the band’s decision to perform at what will be some of their most intimate gigs to date.
Tickets for the band’s show at Elland Road, which will feature support from The Enemy and Kate Nash have already sold out.
More details about the concert are available in our new look Gig Guide.
