Indie Idle Finalists Revealed! Add to My Fav Bands List
Share

After weeks of being inundated by demos, and several days spent listening to them all, Gigwise can now reveal the 20 acts who will go through to the next round of our Indie Idle competition.

They are:

Yezza
Medicine Show
Grand Pocket Orchestra
We’ve Taped Over Your Cassettes
Ice. Sea. Dead People
My Name Is Red
BearKnuckles
Catalan Corruption
Little Things
The Muscle Club
Guildean Gang
The Ramblings
Kick Box Riot
My First Tooth
Skyhorse
The Gin Riots
The Shame
Love Ends Disaster
Soft Toy Emergency
The Dirty Backbeats

The bands will now face a public vote to whittle them down to ten, who will then go forth to the first day of the Red Stripe Camden Crawl on April 18.

To listen by a track by of the bands and to cast your vote go HERE.

Voting will close at midnight on April 10, with the ten bands going through to be announced on Gigwise on April 11.

Lastly we'd like to thank all the bands who sent demos in this year, the quality was very high as usual and made picking the final twenty extremely difficult.

  • I think The Gin Riots are the strongest band up. A couple of other good ones like Seahorse but most are seriously crap, how did they even get shortlisted is beyond me!
