Slash Refused To Let Michael Jackson Near His Son

He didn't quite trust him...

Velvet Revolver and Guns n’ Roses legend Slash has said that he refused to let Michael Jackson near his two-year-old son when they met in London.

The guitarist – real name Saul Hudson - says that although he believed Jacko was innocent until proven guilty with his child abuse charges, he still wouldn’t let his child near the King of Pop.

He tells this month’s Uncut magazine: "You know, I give the benefit of the doubt to Michael on everything - innocent until proven guilty and whatnot - but I was thinking, okay Michael, you figure out your shit and I'll hold on to my son!"

Jackson, of course, was acquitted of all child abuse charges when he went on trial in 2005.

  • oh grow up. stop listening to the media like its gospel. Michael was acquitted on every single charge. The entire case was a farce. Do some research and find out for yourselves. Michael is a nice man who would give his life to make any child happy. Get the facts or dont comment at all.

  • i dont need to listen too the media i watched the special that was run on vh1, and the clips from oprah. MJ tells everyone how much of a freak he is and doesnt seem to get it. Plus if you really researched mj you would see hes been known to be obsessed with and ”play” with little boys most of his life.

  • It always amazes me how people who don’t like Michael Jackson are always the first people to read a story regarding MJ, and then those same people take the time to leave a reply regarding MJ. It really cracks me up! MJ was found not guilty on 14 - FOURTEEN - counts, time for you hater’s to more on. NOTE TO JUSTIN, Yo homie, I really hope nobody in your family dies anytime soon.   • Chill people - I wasn’t having a go at his music or commenting on any charges he was found not guilty of - I was simply comparing him to Freddy Krueger because he looks like a total freak - even if you’re the biggest fan in the world you got to admit he looks strange - I’d be a bit scared of going near him, let alone a small kid!!!

  • Too many stories over the years suggesting Jackson’s interest in boys. His family knows him best. They will never speak candidly about what they know - so as to not embarass the family. The people who have known or perhaps witnessed anything in the past, have never spoken publicly. He had been living that illegal lifestyle for years. Moving to his Neverland home was probably to allow him to continue his activities in complete privacy. Not testifying as he promised, was his undoing.

  • As long as Michael Jackson is a 50% owner of the Sony/ATV catalog, he will remain a target of the media. At this point, he probably doesn’t even care, as he LAUGHS all the way to the bank. Sony/ATV already owns a bunch of great songs, including those of the Beatles & Bob Dylan. Then in 2007, Sony/ATV acquired the Stoller/Lieber & Famous Music catalogs. So MJ now also owns music by ELVIS PRESELY & MARSHALL MATHERS. Slash can only dream of being in that position. LOL!

  • These comments are hilarious. People are so naive about their musical ’heros’’. When he was in court the second time, I wondered if that family had deliberately ’’set him up’’ and allowed their kid to be molested by MJ just so they could get rich - I mean, no family is that stupid, that they don’’t know what sleepovers with MJ really mean, are they?
