Amy Winehouse attacked her fans on the opening night of her UK tour in Birmingham last night (November 14th).

Winehouse was booed throughout her shambolic set, which saw her dedicate a song to her husband, Blake Fielder-Civil.

At one point, Winehouse retaliated to the members of the audience who were booing, saying: "To them people booing, wait 'til my husband gets out of incarceration. And I mean that."

Last nights performance marked Winehouse’s full return to the UK since she pulled out of a number of gigs in the summer following a drugs overdose.

Charted as her musical return to the public eye, the tour was dealt another blow last week when Winehouse’s husband was charged with perverting the course of justice.

The singer chose to dedicate her song, ‘Wake Up Alone,’ to Fielder-Civil.

During her traditional encore, a cover of The Zutons’, ‘Valerie,’ Winehouse shocked fans again, however, by dropping the microphone and walking off stage, reports the BBC.

Were you there last night in Birmingham? What did you think of Winehouse’s performance? Post a comment below to let us know.

  • Me and my friends were there in birmingham last night and had travelled there from stoke-so we expected a good concert as we are all fans of amy, but she was extremely late on stage leaving us waiting an hour and a half after the supporting acts with no news, and she was obviously drunk, having several glasses of wine on stage and almost falling over at one point. Her initial singing was good, but her quality deteriorated. a shame as i am a huge fan of amy’s.

  • What a complete waste of time and money. Imagine paying good money to go watch a premiership football team perform and insteasd they turn up pissed and play like a sunday morning pub team! She let herself down more than anything!

  • I was at the gig last night and left after 20 minutes, it was absoultely atrocious. Not only did we have to wait for an hour for her to come on. When she finally arrived, Amy wobbled around the stage, forgot the words to her songs, downned numerous amounts of drinks... I don’t think she even knew where she was... After 4 songs that was it. RUBBISH.

  • I have never felt so Embarressed for someone. She was spitting, dropping the mike, forgetting the words and was generally a mess. She should have cancelled and not disappointed. She is heading the same way as Kurt Kobain. So Tragic & such a waste, the people who are paid to look after her should be doing so.

  • At times it was painful to watch Amy last night, she pulled it together for the odd song but on the whole it was pretty bad. She needs help.

  • I think everybody should get a little perspective. yes, she turned up late. Yes, she was drinking and smoking on stage. Yes, she had a few good leg wobbles. Isnt that what we all expected!! But - her voice was good and she was hitting all the notes - until she had her fag then it all went to pot! Last 3 numbers were pants. You shouldnt judge a whole set by the last 3 songs.

    • last 3 songs? are you having a laugh - not one song did she pull off all night, she was utter rubbish. She forgot the words to every song, missed words, out of tune. And at the end she threw the microphone stand into the pit with aggression - what an idiot. Her management need to sort her out.

  • I think amy should pull out while she still has her fans support. I like amy very much to watch an artist so good perform so badly, well it was just a disapointment. I hope she turns things round for her sake.

  • I was there last night and felt overwhelmed with sadness. Nobody in Britain since Dusty Springfield has genuinely stood up to the classic american soul singers like Aretha Franklin and Mavis Staples. Now we genuinely have that talent in Amy we seem content to watch the press destroy her. She shouldn’t have been on stage last night, she is not in a fit state to perform but she should be advised and cared for by the people around her and any real fan would prefer to see her shows postponed.

  • I was there at last nights concert in Birmingham, it was like watching ’car crash TV’ - it was such a shame because in the rare moments she seemed to pull herself together you could see her brilliance. She needs help!

  • we were there last night- she spat on stage, threw a lit cigarette into the crowd, kept rubbing her gums and teeth- coke?!? she was staggering around attempting to ’dance’, dropped her microphone and downed several ’orange juices’.her singing was out of tune, if her band wasnt as amazing as it was it would have been even worse- they held it together. dont buy tickets!! try to flog them outside instead, it was such a let down!!

  • I wished she had not come on stage at all at least I would be able to get a refund! I feel sorry for all the fans that travelled miles to see such a sh*te show. She’s let her fans down and if she had any professionalism she would have delivered a good show despite her problems. Amy, Don’t waste your talent, get into rehab and sort yourself out.

  • watched the gig last night - I will never forget it - & not for the superb quality. Amy was awful from the moment she entered the stage (an hour after the last support band). She missed her opening 3 words of the FIRST song and it was down hill from there with incoherent singing and general whaling. It was embarrasing to watch. hundreds starting to walk out from 4 songs in! then the boo’s started (though Amy hoped it was the booze I imagine). The band were superb & I felt very so

  • I thought it was a complete waste of time and money. I appreciate that she is having personal problems but if she had any professionalism she would have put her problems aside and delivered a performance to the fans who made the effort to see her. A truely dissapointing evening for all. I’d rather she didn’t turn up and we would have got a refund! Amy should get herself into rehab and sort herself out before it is too late.

  • As a musician myself, I find Amy’s behaviour to be extremely unprofessional. People paid good money to see her play and it sounds as if she could barely keep her act together. Just say ’no’ Amy!!!!

  • dawn my mum- i was at amys gig at birmingham last night, and when she broke down and cried i cried with her. She didnt deserve the boos she recieved and i thought the audience acted appauling, enticing her to react back, nothing like kicking a dog when its down, i hope that amy finds inner peace and that happiness will follow. Lets not forget, shes an amazing talent. Shes fragile, lets look after her. Not drive her to the brink. xxx

  • The only surprise about last nights concert was that she actually made it onto the stage in the first place. I wasn’t angered by her, she needs help so I can only feel sorry for her. I’m angered by her management who probably pushed her to perform when she is obviously in no state to do so. The whole tour should be cancelled for her to go into rehab. Fans would not want to sit through what I did last night. My children were with me, what better advert for them to leave drink and
