Madonna Threatened To 'Kill' Bloc Party Security Guard Add to My Fav Bands List

Madonna threatened to “kill” a member of Bloc Party’s security at this year’s Live Earth, according to reports.

The singer is alleged to have made the comment after she was put in a headlock and escorted from the band’s dressing room at the Wembley Stadium event in July, reports dotmusic.

Speaking about the incident, Bloc Party’s frontman Kele Okereke said that the band’s Scottish tour manager was not aware of who Madonna was.

"When she came in, he alerted security and security dragged her out. In a headlock," explained the singer. "It was really surreal, and everyone stopped speaking."

He added: "And all we could hear is Madonna cursing and saying she's gonna kill these guys. She's really tough because of all that Pilates that she does, so she got out of the headlock quite easily." 

Madonna and Bloc Party were two of many acts who performed at the Live Earth earlier this year – which had been organised by former American Vice President Al Gore to raise awareness about the problem of global warming.

  • Ha ha that is a classic I think Bloc party may want to consider new representation, if their ”Scottish” doesn’t know who ’Mad-donna’ then what business does he have even managing a band, the numpty. The man is a fu*king laughting stock!

    • There’s no need to be ageist. Madonna is a sucessful artist and business woman. Everybody will eventually get old, even you SchoolHouseRock. But I’d say it’s a safe bet that you will NEVER be as fit and wealthy as Madonna is at 49.

  • If it’s really true, this is unbelievable! I agree, this band needs to change the manager because if you are in music business you want to stay in good relations with powerful figures in this industry. My goodness - manhandling Madonna! This manager is some sort of a caveman and oger,Shrek the Fourth, that is all I can say.
