Babyshambles have unveiled the name of their highly anticipated second album – it’s called ‘Shotter’s Nation.’
The album had tentatively gone by the name of ‘French Dog Blues’, but it seems Doherty and co. changed their mind at the eleventh hour.
Quite what a ‘shotter’ is, we didn’t have a clue until five minutes ago. A quick type into Urban Dictionary later and it’s a drug dealer apparently. Obviously we’re not street enough for dem boys.
The record has been produced by Stephen Street and will be released through Parlophone Records on October 1. It's will be preceded by the single ‘Delivery’ a fortnight earlier.
Across its three formats, ‘Delivery’ will be backed by new tracks ‘Stone Me’, ‘I Wish’, ‘A Day Out In New Brighton’ and ‘Torn.’
The track-listing is as follows:
Carry On Up The Morning
Delivery
You Talk
Unbilotitled
Side Of The Road
Crumb Begging
Unstookietitled
French Dog Blues
There She Goes
Baddies' Boogie
Deft Left Hand
The Lost Art Of Murder
