Kid Harpoon Confirms February 2008 Tour Tickets are on sale now...

Kid Harpoon has announced details of a fresh UK tour for next year.
The acclaimed singer-songwriter plays 16 dates, kick starting at Newcastle’s Head of Steam on February 25 and winding up at Brighton Pressure Point on March 15.
The dates coincide with the release of his next EP, fittingly titled ‘The Second EP’, which will be available through Young Turks from February 18.

Adele Announces Short 2008 UK Tour Beginning next January...

Adele has unveiled a short UK tour which gets underway in the New Year.
The four dates tour includes a show at the Bloomsbury Theatre in London on January 29th.
Adele, who has been given the Critics choice award at next years BRITs, will conclude the short burst of shows in Birmingham on February 3rd.

Yeasayer And MGMT Plan New UK Shows Both will tour next year...

After dazzling the UK with a string of shows each in November MGMT and Yeasayer are to return to these shores in 2008.
The two New York bands have so far announced three shows each for next year but expect more to follow shortly.
MGMT release their debut album ‘Oracular Spectular’ in the UK next year and Gigwise has to say a cracker it is too.
The MGMT dates are:
Nottingham, Bodega Social Club – February 28
Birmingham, Bar Academy – 3
The Yeasayer dates are:
Birmingham, Bar Academy – March 5

Late Of The Pier Announce 2008 UK Tour They head out in February...

Late Of The Pier have announced a headline tour of the UK set fro February 2008.
The Castle Donnington natives will head out across the country to play thirteen dates on their biggest tour to date.
The shows kick of in Exeter at the Cavern and will finish up in Hertford at the Marquee.

I Was A Cub Scout have unveiled a huge UK tour which will get underway next February.
The band’s third headlining tour will begin in Tunbridge Wells on February 2nd and include shows in Sheffield (February 6th) and London (February 27th).
The tour will coincide with the release of the band’s debut album, ‘I Want You To Know That There Is Always Hope,’ which is released on February 11th.
The band’s album will be preceded by the release of double a-side single ‘Pink Squares/ Echoes’ on January 28th.

We Smoke Fags have been forced to pull out of their upcoming shows with the reformed BIS this week.
However, they advise any fans to still go along to the gigs as BIS are "shit hot".

Search Starts For UK's Best Student Band By the JD Set...

The JD Set have announced details of s nationwide search for the UK’s best student band.
Bands must upload their tracks before January 8 to the JD Set Unsigned site to enter the competition.
At the sessions the bands will be able to gain tips from the likes of Peter Hook and other music industry professionals.
The winner of the competition will be announced on March 6 after being judged upon by a select panel.

Lightspeed Champion Confirms Huge 2008 Tour Hitting the road in February...

Lightspeed Champion is going to be extremely busy next February if his touring schedule is anything to go by.
The former Test Icicle and his band will head out in the second month of 2008 to play a mammoth tour taking in seventeen shows.
The tour follows the release of the bands new single ‘Tell Me What Your Worth’ and January 7 and his debut album on January 21.
