    The Love Music Hate Racism (LMHR) campaign has welcomed the publication of the British Nation Party's entire membership list.

    The list, which appeared online on Monday (November 17th) evening, includes the names and personal membership details of police officers and teachers.

    In a statement, LMHR said those exposed as members who worked within a public service should be “viewed as infiltrators, there to promote racism and fascism”.

    It also called for immediate action to be taken against the individuals and said any member not previously "outed” should be “shunned and argued with, isolated from public life.”

    Fleetwood Mac guitarist Lindsey Buckingham has offered to serenade President George W Bush's departure from the White House.

    Buckingham, a Democrat supporter, has written a song called 'Treason' which he said is “all about selfishness and greed”.

    Bush will hand over his position to president-elect Barack Obama in January.

    Fleetwood Mac famously performed their song 'Don't Stop' at President George Clinton's inauguration ball in January 1993.

    Rage Against The Machine's Tom Morello has hailed Barack Obama's victory in the US presidential elections.

    In an interview with Spinner, Morello said he was overwhelmed and said Mr Obama's win could be revolutinary for America.

    "I honestly thought I'd never live to see this day. Obama's election is a huge step towards civilization for a country whose past is so steeped in racism,” he said.

    But Morello, who is currently on a solo US tour, said it was “imperative” that Americans don't forget to campaign on issues close to their heart just because of Mr Obama has made it to the White House.

    Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke has posted a special remix on the band's website to celebrate “a new era in politics in the USA”.

    The song, a remix of 'Harrowdown Hill' from Yorke's solo album 'The Eraser', is available as a free download.

    Yorke wrote: “In celebration of nov 5th, Jonny's [Greenwood, Radiohead's guitarist] burthday (sic), amid bonfire and fireworks in the UK and the dawn of a new era in politics in the USA.

    “I humbly donate a remix of 'Harrowdown Hill' that was finished ages ago during the band webcasts.  A small reminder of the dark days of Bush's....”

    President-elect Barack Obama's journey to the White House began with the civil rights pioneers Rosa Parks and Martin Luther King, rapper Jay-Z has said.

    The rapper told a rally in Philadelphia before Mr Obama's election victory that the Democrat would help continue the legacy left by both Parks and King.

    "I need y'all to be really, really quiet for this. I need you to really understand what I'm telling you. Rosa Parks sat so Martin Luther King could walk,” the rapper said.

    “Martin Luther King walked so Obama could run. Obama's running so we all can fly.”

    US rapper Kanye West has paid tribute to Barack Obama's presidential victory in a message on his website.

    On the rapper's blog, the words “Hi Mom, Obama Won!”, are accompanied by a picture of the successful Democrat candidate, who defeated Republican John McCain in yesterday's election.

    West's message appears to allude to his mother, Donda, who passed away just under a year ago after complications arose during surgery in Los Angeles.

    West was one of a host of musicians who backed Mr Obama's bid to become America's first black president.

    US rapper Nas has recorded a song for Barack Obama on the day the democrat became America's President-elect.

    The rapper recorded the track, entitled 'Election Night', yesterday (November 4th) while on tour in Europe, his producer DJ Green Lantern told MTV.

    “We were at dinner last night talking about how crazy it is that we're not in the states on Election Day," Lantern said

    "Someone quoted his verse from 'Black President,' when he said 'What's the Black Prez thinkin' on Election Night?' And Nas said, 'Set up the mic — I'm gonna speak on that.' And the result is 'Election Night'.”

    US rapper's Jay-Z and P Diddy and a host of other big name supporters of Barack Obama's presidential campaign have been asked not to attend the candidate's proposed victory rally, according to reports.

    Mr Obama is due to hold a ticket-only event in Chicago's Grant Park this evening where Democrat's hope he will be unveiled as America's next President.

    Although the candidate is grateful for the musicians' support, his campaign team is said to be keen on having just one star – Mr Obama – in attendance.

    A source told the Chicago Sun-Times: ''There will be plenty of time for a new President Obama to be surrounded by famous fans, all hopeful about a new administration.''

    David Byrne has urged Americans to head to the polls today to vote for their next president.

    In an email to his fans, the Talking Heads star, who is not a US citizen and therefore ineligible to vote, warned voters not to grow complacent as the campaign drew to a close.

    He also attacked Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin.

    Byrne wrote: “The Republicans have made us less safe than before 9/11, bankrupted this economy, started an illegal war they can’t - and don’t intend to - finish, removed what sympathy (after 9/11) and respect the world had for the US, and have robbed US citizens of many of their basic rights.
