The Flaming Lips' New Album Features Yeah Yeah Yeahs And MGMT They announce album and tour details...

MGMT and Yeah Yeah Yeahs singer Karen O both appear on the new album by The Flaming Lips.
The double-LP entitled, 'Embryonic', is due to be released in the UK this September.
Frontman Wayne Coyne told Sterogum that releasing "a double record offers more room to be strange."
Meanwhile, the band have also announced details of a short UK tour, which gets under way in London on November 10.

Franz Ferdinand Extend UK Tour With Two New Dates Check out the details on Gigwise...

Franz Ferdinand have extended their forthcoming UK tour.
The Scottish band will now play an extra late show at the Brixton Academy on October 24, in addition to their first date on October 23.
The group will also play an additional date in Bournemouth on October 21.
Tickets for the new shows go on sale on Thursday (July 2) at 9am and will be available via the Gigwise Gig Guide.

Kasabian Announce Massive UK Arena Tour For the end of the year...

Kasabian are set to end the year with an extensive UK arena tour, which gets under way in Newcastle on November 10.
The band will also play dates in London, Nottingham and Cardiff.
The tour will support the release of the band's latest album 'West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum'.
As previously reported on Gigwise, Kasabian were among the performers at last weekend's Glastonbury festival in Somerset.

Enter Shikari Announce Massive UK And Ireland Tour Tickets go on sale this Friday...

Enter Shikari have announced details of a huge UK and Ireland tour, which gets under way in Belfast on October 2.
The near month long trip also includes dates in Norwich, London and Glasgow.
The tour will mark the band's first major set of live shows in support of new album 'Common Dreads', which was released earlier this month.

Little Boots Announces Autumn UK Tour It gets under way in Northampton...

Little Boots is set to tour the UK this autumn, beginning in Northampton on October 21.
The singer, whose real name is Victoria Hesketh, will also play gigs in Brighton, Preston and Liverpool during the nine date tour.
Little Boots released her debut album 'Hands' earlier this month.

The Specials Announce Autumn UK Tour Tickets go on sale this Friday...

The Specials are to continue their successful reunion with another UK tour this autumn.
The band will begin the 13-date tour at the Arena in Cardiff on November 1.
Additional dates will take place in Plymouth and Wolverhampton before the tour ends with two shows in London on November 24 and 25.

Editors are set to play a huge tour of the UK and Ireland this autumn in support of their new album.
The band will play gigs in Norwich, Dublin and Manchester on the 15-date tour.
Editors are expected to release their third album 'In This Light And On This Evening' ahead of a show in Birmingham on September 10.

Jay-Z, White Lies, Girls Aloud Set For Both Coldplay Wembley Gigs It's been announced...

Jay-Z and Girls Aloud will support Coldplay at both of their concerts at London's Wembley Stadium later this summer.
Both acts had only previously been scheduled to support the group on one night each. White Lies have also been added as further support.
The concerts, which take place on September 18 and 19, form part of Coldplay's UK tour.
