More Headliners Announced For 2009 Brighton Live Festival See them now...

The latest headliners have been announced for this year's Brighton Live festival.
The event, which runs from September 28 – October 3, promotes new and emerging local talent.
Headlining performances will come from Pangs, The Crave, The Jo Harman Project and Walker Project.
As previously reported on Gigwise, Grasscut, Half Sisters, JFB, Hereldeduke, Restlesslist, and PRJCTMHYM are also confirmed to headline the festival.

Radiohead's Thom Yorke Showcases New Material At Latitude - PHOTOS See highlights...

Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke debuted a new song during a rare solo performance at the Latitude festival in Suffolk.
The singer wowed fans with a midday set on Sunday, which comprised mostly of tracks taken from the singer's 2006 album 'The Eraser'.
But Yorke also played a selection of Radiohead songs, including 'Weird Fishes/Arpeggi' and 'True Love Waits'.
Despite his early billing on the main stage, Yorke proved one of the biggest draws of the three day festival.

Duran Duran, Mark Ronson, Little Boots, Gary Numan Rock Lovebox - PHOTOS See highlights now...

Duran Duran, Little Boots and Gary Numan were among the performers at last weekend's Lovebox festival in London.
Mark Ronson, Doves and Ladyhawke also played at the event in Victoria Park.
N.E.R.D also wowed fans with a raucous set that included a massive stage invasion and tribute to Michael Jackson.

Charlatans' Tim Burgess And CSS' Lovefoxx Join Shoreditch 1234 Festival They'll play DJ sets...

Charlatans frontman Tim Burgess and CSS' Lovefoxx have been added to the line up for the Shoreditch 1234 festival in London.
Both singers will play DJ sets on the main stage at the event, which takes place on July 26 in Shoreditch Park.
In addition to performances on the main stage, the festival also boasts twelve specially curated after parties.
Venues for the parties includes The Hoxton Pony, Mother Bar and Bar Music Hall.

Bestival 2009 Sells Out With Eight Weeks To Go Organisers announce...

All tickets for this year's Bestival festival on the Isle of Wight have now sold out.
The event, which runs from September 11-13, will feature headline performances from Massive Attack, Kraftwerk and Elbow.
In a statement, organiser Rob Da Bank said he was “speechless” that the festival had sold out eight weeks in advance.
“It’s testament to our amazing and very loyal crowd that we've achieved this in a tricky old year for festies,” he added.

Little Boots, Marina And The Diamonds Added To Underage Festival Line Up Along with other acts...

Little Boots and Marina and the Diamonds have been added to the line up for next month's Underage festival in London.
Golden Silvers, Kid British and Master Shortie have also join the event, which takes place in Victoria Park on August 2.
Acts already on the line up include Santigold, The Horrors, Patrick Wolf and Mystery Jets.
Tickets for the festival, which is open to 14-18 year-olds, are on sale now and available via the Gigwise Gig Guide.

Mark Ronson To Perform With Duran Duran At Lovebox Later this month...

Mark Ronson will perform with Duran Duran at the Lovebox Weekender, it's been confirmed.
The 'super producer' performed with Duran Duran at an exclusive gig in Paris last summer and has been working with them on their as-yet-untitled 13th album.
Organisers have confirmed Ronson will join the pop legends onstage during their headline slot on Saturday July 18.
Lovebox boasts performances from the likes of Florence & The Machine, New York Dolls, Groove Armada, Doves, N*E*R*D, Friendly Fires and many more.

T In The Park 2009: Watch The Weather Forecast Now - VIDEO See it on Gigwise...

Festivalgoers have been warned to expected heavy rain at this weekend's T in the Park festival in Scotland.
Conditions will gradually deteriorate after a mainly dry start on Friday (July 10), the Met Office said.
Heavy rain showers will be a constant threat on Saturday with further damp spells forecast for Sunday.
T in the Park will be headlined by The Killers, Kings of Leon and Blur.

Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Modest Mouse To Play ATP 10th Anniversary In Minehead this December...

Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Modest Mouse have both been added to the line up for the tenth anniversary of the ATP festival.
The event, which takes place at Butlins resort in Minehead from December 11-13, will also feature a performance from The Breeders.
Other acts set to appear include Battles, Fuck Buttons, Explosions In The Sky, The Drones and Mudhoney.

Police Warn T In The Park Festivalgoers Not To Take Drugs To this weekend's event...

Fans attending this weekend's T in the Park festival in Scotland have been told not to take drugs.
Local police have also urged festivalgoers to prepare for possible bad weather and advised them to sleep with their tickets hidden from view.
The warnings form part of a wide-ranging list of safety guidelines issued to those attending the event, which begins on Friday (July 10).
Drug amnesty bins, which allow people to dispose of drugs without prosecution, will greet festivalgoers as they arrive at the site in Balado, police said.
