Eric ClaptonCream legend Eric Clapton is set to write his biography and will release it sometime in 2007.

The book will be written in collaboration with Christopher Simon Sykes, a close friend since 1967. The as yet untitled book will coincide with a North American tour plus a Warner Brothers release of a complete retrospective box set of Clapton’s material.

Clapton will next perform live with his original Cream line up during three dates at New York’s Madison Square Garden later this month following on from their heralded return in London last May.
