Yoko Ono is to hold a memorial concert to mark the 25th anniversary of John Lennon’s death.
The event will be held at Tokyo’s Nippon Budokan Hall this Friday (October 7) where Beatles songs will be played to a vast audience by local musicians.
The Beatles played the exact same venue almost 40 years earlier in 1966.
As the beeb reports, Ono said that she feels her late husband’s “spirit” is present at the venue.
Proceeds from the event will go to a series of causes including orphans in Africa and Asia, some of which were the result of the Asian Tsunami last Boxing Day.
